The hexagonal ciborium stood in the baptistery of the Novigrad cathedral. The arrangement of the ciborium sides is determined by the inscription running along them just below the cornice. The inscription is incomplete. Interpretation according to G. Cuscito:

Arch 3: MAURICIUS EPISOP(US) O [BT]ULIDE)O SUMMO length: 100 cm, height: 47 cm, width: 11 cm.
Arch 4: E STUDIO DEVOTE PECTORE TOTO. BEATE IOHANIS length: 108 cm, height: 52 cm, width: 10 cm.
Arch 5: [...]ERRE SE DELEARIS PLURA NOST[RA CRIMINA?] length: 70 cm, height: 37 cm, width: 10 cm.
Capital: preserved height: 22 cm, preserved diameter: 14 cm, abacus: 27 x 27 cm.
